彼女は高校までハワイで育ち、地元ではかなりのアイドルだったらしい。
５歳でJANET JACKSONのものまねをし、MARIAH CAREYを７オクターブ
の音域で歌い上げる。
日本に標準を合わせ「NANA」でレイラ役に見事抜され擢華やかなデビュ
ーを飾る。オーディションで彼女の歌声に審査員が思わず身を乗り出した
瞬間に合格を確信したと語っていた。
その自信に裏付けられた伸びのある圧倒的な歌唱力でデビューシングル
『ENDLESS STORY』がいきなり60万枚を超える大ヒット。
そして、今回はレイラではなく本人伊藤由奈名義で初のシングル「Faith」
をリリース。
「lifeはeasyじゃないからこそexciting…」と語る彼女。「Faith」の歌の意味
と同様に、故郷のハワイを離れ、辛い事や悲しい事を乗り越えて音楽に
支えられて前向きに生きて行く、彼女自身の思いが込められた曲。
本当に歌が好きで、歌う事に心から幸せを感じている。そんな印象をうけま
す。これからが期待できますね。
そういえばAIちゃんやDef Techとも大の仲良しらしく（ちょっと意外な気もしま
すが、ハワイつながり？）いつか夢のコラボレーションが実現することを期待
しつつ。。
